Armed with experiences of surviving the Alaska wilderness (7 years up in AK Salmon canneries) starting at the age of 16. To surviving the musician’s life in Brooklyn, NY where I literally slept on my studio floor for years and years (old music here). Yes, I’ve done a little of everything, from dog walking and lowly janitor work to working my way up to a manager’s position and even getting a bit of a white collar job doing SEO/marketing work…then I found trading. This was what life was training me for! I left it all behind over 5 years ago now, jumping wholeheartedly into the great unknown. Life as a full-time trader has been, well, interesting to say the least. Many ups and downs were experienced in the pursuit of consistency. So I decided to start this site up to document much of what I’ve seen and learned over the years and also to connect and give back to the world.
My main focus is going to revolve around what I found to be the most enlightening and mind-expanding part of trading…managing and maintaining the mind. I’ve noticed that most focus on the technicals and fundamentals of trading and don’t get me wrong those are certainly important aspects. I believe overall that most traders fail not due to their lack of technical or fundamental knowledge but rather the lack of mental fortitude or spiritual upkeep to stay in the game. It’s a major pillar required for sound trading, it is mandatory to have to survive over the long term.
This is a site that the underlining factor for me is giving. Not only through blog posts on tips/tricks and general things I’ve picked up. But also apps and other tools that I will be giving away in the future. I hope to be a resource on all the courses, books, and trading communities that I’ve sampled over the years. Mostly though, I hope to develop as a life coach specifically for traders. Drilling down into what makes us tick. What are you clinging onto, what are you rejecting? If you just need to chat/vent with someone who gets it, or if you want to do regular deep dives just hit me up. Check out my page on the trade coaching services that I offer.
Thank you for visiting, thank you for reading, and don’t be a stranger!
